As you may know by now, I am a doctoral student, soon to be moving into my planning phases of the ADP (PsyD version of a dissertation). From the time of writing this, I have about one and a half more weeks of ORG8586: Evaluating Criminal Justice Interventions, then I will be starting nine weeks of RES8780: Research Conceptualization and Design.
My topic is about determining the effectiveness of Oklahoma’s Mental Health Re-Entry Program. Essentially, my mind map, when narrowing my topic, looks like this.
Now, this idea may change or become a bit more complex, but it will remain a program evaluation. When I first chose this topic, I was unaware of many programs Oklahoma has for reintegration, but this one stuck out to me due to its time since being implemented in 2007. After I obtain my PsyD, I plan to evaluate more programs and find the best parts of every program to see if I can find the components that work the best in their purpose.
